This battery in Dell Inspiron 17 5770 worked absolutely fine for 3 weeks. Then it showed 72% available (plugged in) instead of 100% available (Charging). It just runs on electric only now. My personal high-tech support friend said that's because Dell puts battery internal circuitry it needs to charge from Dell PCs need Dell OEM battery. He said knockoff makers don't put the circuitry in, then it don't charge! This battery's getting changed to the official Dell battery coming today, while this is past return. Not happy here. Beware, if this true -and my tech dude knows his stuff, so I'd recommend an official says Dell on the battery. Good luck! Adding later to this 9/9/22 -> This issue seems to effects more than just this model dell laptop. It is a very well documented problem on Dell Support. They offer dozens of answers, i have tried them all and does not get it back to charging the laptop battery. So, TSKYBEAR The seller saw my initial review and offered to help, i told them more data on the problem, and then they offered refund, which I appreciatively accepted and Thank them for doing. I still have a Dell laptop runs only on electric. Maybe one day i'll find the right forum where somebody solved this and report it back here when and if I find the answer. A welcome thank U to the seller, and very negative review of Dell's support on this issue when Ur battery finally does need changed what magic is needed to make it work, after a solid month on trying to solve it, after as i said it worked absolutely fine for at least 3 entire weeks. I still don't have any answer to it to see the charging adapter anymore as other than unknown and just running on the PS no battery charging, ug!
