I received my first UCO candle lantern just after the Northridge LA earthquake. We were stuffed into a van after the house was vandalized and we needed a light source. The little brass lantern was built like a tank and has served me well for over 2 decades. I just don't have it anymore because I lost it when I moved. I just got around to replacing it with a green one. The item fell apart in my hands when I took it out of the box. It took a few tries to put it back together and it rattles when it moves like it's about to fall apart. I really hate to return it but it is MUCH WORSE than what I bought at the time. Sad.
