A good mount for the money. It uses the most convenient design of attaching two vertical bars to the back of the TV, attaching the bracket to the wall, and then lifting the TV onto the bracket. The vertical arms have notches that hook into the top of the bracket. That supports the TV and you can let it go. You complete the installation by tightening the screws on the vertical arms that attach them to the bottom of the bracket. All fasteners to attach the wall mount and TV to the mount are included; Wall mounting screws, washers and concrete anchors for those who need them, most common sized TV screws (5 different sets), 8 3/16" standoffs and 8 9/16" standoffs for those with curved screens or rear bulges of the TV between the mounting holes. They fit most TVs, but for really fancy TVs from manufacturers who don't care what problems they cause, you may need to purchase additional screws. The kit includes a small wrench for wall screws and leveling screws, and an Allen key for forward/backward tilting. This mount will fit almost any TV mount configuration where the holes in the TV are from 75mm (3") to 400mm (15 3/4") vertical and any width up to 400mm (15 3/4") . A limitation for small TVs is that the vertical arms are 16 1/2 inches long. If the TV isn't that tall, the arms will be visible unless the ends are trimmed. My 49 inch TCL 5 series TV has a protrusion on the bottom rear. It sticks out more than the surface with the mounting screws. I had to cut half an inch off the vertical arms to get them out of the way. When stowed, the back of the TV is 2 3/4 inches from the wall at the mounting points. When fully extended it is 24 inches from the wall. Because the last 2 1/8" of the bracket is rotated, a 90 degree rotation will cause the center of the bracket to be 21 7/8" from the wall. A 3/4 inch or smaller center TV can be rotated a full 90 degrees. With 400mm mounting holes, the TV must be centered. A TV with 300mm holes can be moved nearly 2 inches off center, allowing a TV up to 47 5/8" wide to rotate 90 degrees, and a TV with 200mm holes can be moved nearly 4" allowing a 51 5/8" wide TV to rotate 90 degrees. rotate 90 degrees. To level the TV sideways after installation, slightly loosen the four 10mm screws, using plate attaches to the end of the TV mount. Level the TV, then tighten the four screws. DO NOT ATTACH a TV mount that slides out of the wall to plaster! If you place the TV between studs or a shroud For example, if you need to mount to a concrete wall covered with sheathing and drywall, get a 3/4" piece of plywood wide enough to screw to two studs or sheathing and at least 11" tall (The taller you the better if the Fernse forth it covers). Paint it the same color as the wall if you're worried about the look. Attach to the posts with at least 3 screws in the top third and at least one in the bottom third on each post, use 2 1/2" screws or longer (use at least 3 1/4" long Tapcon screws for Drywall and batten strips over concrete Attach the bracket to the plywood with 3/16" screws at least 1 1/4" long.
