Review on 🐦 Black Mesh Bird Cage Skirt: UEETEK Bird Seed Catcher Net Cage Cover by Richard Gonzales

Let's face it, birds are messy so I try my best to keep the mess to a minimum. A while ago I had a piece of cloth attached to the bottom of the cage that worked fine but was getting old and tattered and eventually I got tired of messing around with it. I never thought I could find a plaid skirt big enough for my African Gray but when I saw this big one I thought I'd at least try. He says it's 250 cm, which is about 98.4252 inches. When I received it it was in such a small box that I thought it definitely wouldn't fit, but he was able to successfully stretch it to fit snugly around the cage. I would say it rises a little less than a foot to the bottom. It's black and my plaid is dark gray so you can't even tell it's on! Don't make my mistake, move the bird before you put this on. My Luna peed all over this new thing and made a huge mess out of the walnut shells I use on the bottom of her cage. I'm really liking it so far and can just lower it enough to fit just under the bottom of her tray and about a foot high. I've noticed a marked decrease in forage and walnut shell droppings on the floor and so far she hasn't messed with it or tried to bite a hole (guess because it's dark and mostly unnoticed). I'll just take it off and throw it in the laundry. I might even get a second one if it lasts a while so I can easily swap it out between washes. So far I would have wished for a little more, but so good.
