I didn't use this necklace as an urn but I just thought it was a beautiful necklace. I'm so happy I got this. It is very unique and such high quality. The small silver "urn" inside has a certain weight and is of very high quality, you can use it for as many small souvenirs as you like. The upper part is very easy to screw on and off and looks very secure when closed. The pendant itself is very solid, has a good weight and is absolutely beautiful. You actually take it off the chain to open it (the threads tighten on each side) and then put it back on when you're done filling it. This is an amazing way to do so as it will never open while you are wearing it. I actually put a crystal here and not a mini urn because I just think it's nicer. The necklace is also good quality, it seems durable and good quality again. The breaking of the chain doesn't bother me at all. It's also easy to put on and take off and I had no problems with the clasp. I was really impressed by how beautiful this necklace is.
