Comes with 2 spare JDS-030s and 2 ribbon cables. It came with 2 ribbon cables (longer than the original) and a large double JDS-030. First you need to separate the 2 JDS-030s with your fingers. Second, there is a very good video on YouTube of a young man installing this part. Third, JDS-030 is not exactly like the original. There is a tiny white "thing" that contains blue/amber LEDs that are significantly smaller than the original. Fourth, be sure to fully insert the ends of the ribbon cable and gently close the latch on the end of the JDS-030. The other end of the ribbon cable simply slides in, no locking. Fifth, the new cable is longer. No big deal, it works and is actually easier to install. After that, put the controller back together and don't do what I did. I put the screws back in, tested the controller and got nothing. What I did was put a screw in the ribbon cable. It's good that there were 2 loops in the kit. After doing the above I looked through the screw hole again to see if I could see white. No white in the hole is good. I would check before I put the screws in. If it's still dead, try another new JDS-030. Worth a try. Despite the fact that the LED thing is a lot smaller, you should eventually get a nice yellow light when you fix it. Anyway, those were my thoughts on this point.
