Review on Purina Beyond Natural Limited Ingredient by Jennifer Thomas

I am a Purina person. I have always used this brand for all my animals. I know food is made in the USA and I care. I got a new dog about 4 months ago. I've been trying to find the 'right' dog food for him that he really likes. The Proplan beef was good for about a month, but I found I had to add a few treats to his kibble to keep him eating it. Eventually he just picked at his food. I switched to chicken and no improvement. Then I tried Purina One Beef. Once again the kibble needed to be spiced up with treats after tasting the flavors of chicken, salmon etc. He just didn't like his food. Continuing my research, I discovered that Purina Beyond dry food is not completely grain free. My last dog was there but died suddenly at the age of 10. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with grain-free food, but my vets have since advised me against grain-free food. I just ordered a pack of Beyond White Meat Chicken/Barley. My dog is in heaven! Haha! Just like my cat! I opened this package and both the dog and cat thought they were getting a treat. I found his food! I don't need to add anything. He likes it! 💘 It's also cheaper than Proplan or Purina One.
