Since it looked very similar, I decided to go with it. When I took it out of the box, I wasn't impressed. I do not like the processing of this product at all. I've been an Apple fan for 20 years and have become very used to the feel of their products. While this keyboard is silver colored and looks like the Apple keyboard in the pictures, it has small grooves on its surface that aren't as smooth as the Apple version. I didn't like the feel from the start but I decided to plug it in. one and see how it works. I spent about 20 minutes connecting this keyboard to my MacBook Pro because the layout was not recognized by the computer. It typed letters but didn't recognize any other keys. He was either only recognizing numbers, or he was simply toggling between sections of the keyboard that would work. I spoke to tech support (at Revain's recommendation prior to issuing the return) and they had no way of fixing the issues or helping me. so on the way back. I will definitely get the Apple version!
