Not everything is so bad, the average purchase in quality.
The headphones are generally satisfactory, although they still seem like a compromise between inexpensive and premium models. While I was content with the simpler model of the same brand, when I upgraded to these headphones I was anticipating a higher level of quality. I say go for the most musically engaging headphones you can afford, regardless of price.
