I fitted these to a Mercedes Benz R129 SL500 - you need to pull out the instrument cluster so you need a tool to do that. Only properly exchanged and turn signal bulbs. If you change the bulbs behind the mileage and temperature gauges, there will be a flickering effect caused by the way the gauge (not the bulb) works. I took the old bulbs out of their sockets and replaced them with LEDs, if they don't work we take them out, rotate them 180 degrees and swap them out. They don't dim as much as old incandescent bulbs, but that's not because of the color. Looks great at night.
