I was going to raise the TV a few inches in our living room but when I opened the box and pulled out the first piece I saw it was done very thin chipboard. The product description says it will hold 40 pounds, but it doesn't. In a very short time, anything over ten pounds will cause the wood to sag and warp, putting you at risk of dropping the TV or monitor. I immediately put the product back in the box, printed out the return label and sent it back.
