I received these shoes on time and since I read the book by Dr. Couldn't find sonics about men's ankles so I ordered these shoes to find out the price and sizing. I have tried unsuccessfully to find ankle boots comparable to Dr. Plaice. However, once I settled on this shoe, I was pleasantly surprised that it almost fit. My feet seemed to have grown a bit so I had to buy gel shoe inserts to make them more comfortable as I put in extra effort every day. Sometimes I'm on my feet for an average of 7-10 hours. It's a good work shoe, it just doesn't have ankle support.
