My cats love it and they often play with the toy bell too. It's pretty stable, my 8.5 lb cat climbs and sits on it with no problem. However, if they scratch it, they can move it under their own weight, so I have to keep trying to put it back in place. The hardest part was actually assembling it. The bottom part isn't tight and kept folding while I was trying to screw on the tower part. Just uncomfortable, not very difficult.
