Review on Carhartt Navy Insulated Lunch Cooler Bag with Dual Compartments: The Ultimate Deluxe Solution by Tammy Smith

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good quality. Not very large.

It's time to ditch the crumbling 8-year-old Igloo Maxcold fridge for lunch and go with Carhartt mostly because of the brand. I'm usually a fan of their gear and don't mind featuring them, so I took a chance. The dimensions listed seemed very close to my old cooler, and while a group of reviewers noted that it was small, I went further. . As it turned out, this is a little less than I expected. Don't count on working overtime in the field and stocking up on treats. It fits a meal and several ice packs. You might be able to fill the top with extra stuff, but I'd say it's more of a snack area. You may even need this area for drinks. I find it a bit odd that the lid is only accessible from the outside of the bag, but that may be because my previous bag had a zip on the inside. There is only one section of the front pocket that is not exposed to the insulated area. My last cooler had more, but again that's not a problem for me as my current situation makes it less necessary to keep everything I might need in my lunch box. In any case, it looks nice. He does what he claims to do. It keeps your lunch cold. It's small so keep that in mind if you're a union member working the 12 hour shift and bring your own food.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
