These cards are great for teaching toddlers and young kids sight words and introducing them to sentences. My son is 4 and is in VPK and while he tested to be at a 2nd grade level, I don’t do all the things I did with my daughter and he actually started reading at a later age than her. She was 3 and much advance in reading though both his reading and math is exceptional when I compare both kids, her math wasn’t as advance as his at his age. I got these to help him be a higher reader so the next time the State test, he’ll increase and not decrease. There’s only a few words in the higher levels (3 & 4) that he has trouble with but when I do the cards with him he’s engaged because they’re colorful and fun. He even give will become the teacher and test me on the cards, asking me what the word is and to the sentence. I find it hilarious but I still play along and he’ll tell me good mommy and go to the next. Definitely recommend.
