This mug is just perfect. I was looking for a morning coffee mug that would allow for some cooling and have a simple and easy to clean lid. In other words, it's not an iron travel mug with a complicated mechanical lid and vacuum that made my pre-dinner coffee too hot to drink. The lid slides with friction so no threads can collect for stains or dirt. It will spill if you drop it, but it fits perfectly in most cup holders, and the shape of the glass holds liquid well without splashing while driving. It's also just plain beautiful and it's by far the most functional morning coffee mug I've ever bought. (Important for those of us who DO NOT NEED to function until our morning coffee is down.)
