Review on Timberland Men's Leather Passcase Trifold Wallet - Accessory for Cards, Cash & Organization by Justin Early

Should have been my boyfriend's Christmas present but after looking at (and sniffing at) the wallet even he said "oh shit". I've read a lot of reviews on various men's leather wallets on Amazon and one decent number of one star reviews were for products that arrived moldy. Of course I thought that this was an accident and that it wasn't going to happen to me, but it happened. Not sure if this is a Timberland specific issue or just an Amazon stock issue but be careful with the buyer. Mold washes off easily (I wiped it off a bit before taking these pictures) but the wallet itself smells like mold even if you wash the mold off. I will be returning this item, it cannot be gifted. Also, there are those 3 crease/scratch lines on the front of the wallet and they will not rub off. I know that over time the wallet will break and there will be a few lines and you won't notice the 3 inside, but as a gift I want it to be original out of the box. I also noticed that there is only a small seam on the ID flap that secures it and it looks like it could tear easily. I can't confirm it will tear as this wallet will be returned before being used but from a visual standpoint it looked flimsy. Hope that helps! Good luck on your wallet hunt!
