I really wanted it to work. I've been using fitness trackers for years, but I'm tired of throwing them away when the battery life is getting low. A tracker with removable batteries seemed like the best option. The fact that the Misfit Rays are small and have several different strap styles was a definite plus. My step count was lower than expected for the first few days of wearing, so I wore my old tracker with Ray. As I suspected, there is a huge discrepancy between the two, but which was correct? I walked around the office counting my steps as I walked, then checked both trackers. The beam lowered my steps by 30%! Then I contacted Misfit Technical Support. We emailed for over a week and they asked questions e.g. what happens if you press twice, what happens if you press three times, etc. Finally, they asked me to remove and reinsert the batteries (i.e. disable them). and again). When I replied that this would not fix the problem, I was greeted with silence. Likewise, three other letters asking for further steps were ignored. Today I returned Ray with regret.
