I've had a hard time learning a lot of soundbars, I'm very picky. I have several different audio brands, klipsch, bose, polk and infinity. It really depends on your sonic preference/taste when buying speakers. At the same time I prefer warm deep and clear. Klipsch is generally very good, sometimes lacking a deeper tone. The Bar 48 out of the box isn't very good, but give the speakers time to break in and it's pretty damn good. The subwoofer is amazing, I have a fairly large 20x30 bedroom and it will rock the room. The rear suspension disappointed me. The music bar itself is just great. If you prefer a super soundbar for movies, this isn't for you. However, if you want great sound for music and above-average movie sound, buy it.
