This scale is garbage! It should have a load capacity of 400 pounds. And it gave me (135 lbs) a fairly accurate weight reading, although it actually still worked. But another family member, about 260 pounds, was getting flickering weight readings, constantly fluctuating between about 3 pounds. Maybe it really was 261.7, but the scale flashed from 258.9 to 260.7, and without stabilization to 262.8. And then it becomes empty. The capper came when the native battery died. Bought a spare Energizer 2032 lithium battery. Inserted. The scale worked two readings and died again. I went back to the store and bought another battery. inserted. The scale worked briefly, then died again. What garbage!
