New velcro not so good

First of all I like my previous HALO products. I have 4 of these in the house from my first born and I got 2 more as gifts from my baby list with this one (baby number 2) - then I bought this one. I literally have about 7 of these in different sizes and styles. However, I don't like this one at all. My first problem is that the temperature seems to have a strange effect on my little one who is never comfortable in it. Maybe I just don't know what's the best way to coat it with this stuff, so to be honest I'd keep experimenting with the temperature if I didn't like the other properties. - The wings are much smaller and less wide. I use the little one for my one month old, which is hardly the minimum size for a little one. I can't get his hands in the wings without the pieces sticking out. The shape of the wings doesn't wrap him around and allows him to raise his shoulders/arms much higher than the other versions, placing the material very close to his face and making me nervous. The new velcro has got to be the worst feature. It's uncomfortable. It's like they've put on a strong velcro that doesn't even look like regular velcro. Sticks to everything and everyone. He fixates on himself and makes a horrible noise when pulled away from things. It's also sooooo hard to get it off anything, you have to get it off your baby somehow. If I'm trying to do something secretly while the baby is sleeping (like trying to fix the wings because they're too short and my baby has cold hands or shoulders or whatever), that's how it is in this case almost impossible. I usually love Halo, but not this one at all.
