Review on 🎧 Titanium Replacement Ear Pads Cushions for Bose QuietComfort & SoundLink Headphones - Professional Grade by Kyle Cross

Slightly different from the original (OEM) but a GREAT replacement (photos included)

I'm always hesitant to buy 3rd party electronics replacement parts but I read the reviews and was happy with it. The installation process was very easy. I thought it would be harder when I saw it takes about 10 minutes but no matter how long it takes you, time flies quickly and the instructions are easy. does not fit perfectly like an OEM mat. He's a little smaller. The original mats didn't look like they needed replacing, but I figured it couldn't hurt since I replaced the ear pads. Make sure your hands are clean and you are working on a clean surface when changing mats. When I removed the old mats there was also some material left on the sticky part. I took mine off to make sure the new mat had a clean surface to attach to. I'm not sure if the size difference affects the sound. When I listened to them after installation, I didn't notice any difference. It's just great to have new ear pads again. Snapping on the earpad is probably the hardest part at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty quick. When you first put the earpad on, it hides the clips that hold it in place. I tried to remember where the brackets were or to match them to another open cup, but that made things too difficult. I've found that if you gently hold the cushion portion away from the edge of the ear cushion, you can push the included tool along the edge and find where the clips are. - Once you find them, make sure you press down on the edge and tuck in. There is an arrow on the small tool that shows which side to use. If you can't see the arrow, hold it upside down. There are 10 clips in total. When you're done, you can count to make sure you don't miss anything. All should match perfectly. I have included photos of my original ear pads which were falling apart. I wear these headphones a lot and it shows. I did notice that the noise canceling was better because they fit like they should compared to my old ones which I'm embarrassed to wear for so long. Overall I think it's great quality and a great replacement for over half the price. The fact that they don't look like the originals also keeps them looking like new which is an added bonus. I plan to replace them annually from now on.
