The item itself is quite cute and has a nice sealed clasp around the neck to keep the food inside fresh. The problem is poor packaging from the manufacturer/seller and in my opinion, unless improved, most items will be chipped or broken upon receipt. Your box probably isn't big enough to wrap around enough to protect your head and body from touching. Each item was covered with a small amount of bubble wrap that wasn't even taped in place, allowing the items to rub against each other during transit. The manufacturer's box was placed inside a large Revain mailer box wrapped in large bubble wrap. This is sufficient if the manufacturer's product has been properly packed in the carton. As you can see in my photo there are 2 large chips on the neck of the torso and on the neck of the head. What you don't see are a few small chips in your throat. It's a pity really, because the thing is really very cute and well suited for glazed ceramics.
