Like others, I didn't buy these shoes for volleyball but (mostly) for indoor pickleball. As a pickleball shoe, they seem to work well. They are fairly grippy and don't have much heel slip. The cons of this shoe are that 1) a very uncomfortable insole. It may not exist at all. Instead I bought Dr. Scholls, and now comfort has greatly improved. Note that the insoles are glued in and you need to use some force to pull them out. 2) The laces are too short, especially if you use all the eye holes. I ended up using 55 inch laces which I accidentally bought recently. All in all after replacing the insoles and laces - I'm not sure if it's the super deal they seem at first glance but they're still pretty good. and get the job done.
