The unit appears to be poorly designed but works well except for one real issue. The volume level is too low even when the volume is set to maximum. I often use it to drive a set of speakers with an amp, but even then the volume is too low. It drives the direct input device quite well with little distortion. For the money this is a bargain but remember it is worth what you paid for. It's good value for money just considering the price, but lacking on a few points. I would replace it with the same.
