iPad stand is useless when locked

I bought this case for the safety factor and because I can use it as a stand. This is for security only. The stand uses rubber padding and friction to hold the stand. Unfortunately, the body is made of smooth, semi-glossy plastic that falls off too easily. If you attach a Kensington lock to it, it becomes too heavy and tears off the stand, causing the iPad to slam on the table. If Kensington had been smarter, they would have put a locking bolt on the bottom of the iPad instead of the top. I put a rubber pad on the case to maximize friction, but the lock still lets it slide as the case's stability is poor compared to most. The back crease around the lid is coming off which was good at first but now comes off too easily during tough times. One day the back cover bounced off and the iPad fell to the ground when I was picking it up. Even inside the case, it's difficult to get the iPad into portrait mode due to the large bulge on the bottom. The keyboard itself is okay, but the keys don't feel as comfortable as on other compact keyboards. Bottom line, I wouldn't buy this again and I'll probably replace it with another lock when I can. Find one with a Kensington lock slot that I can attach a locking bolt to.
