To be honest it was the last minute, the very last minute, the father daughter dance costume. The theme was the beach and this one was perfect for my daughter. She's very tall for her age (9 years old and almost 5ft) so was a bit small for my liking, but we found that the straps are adjustable to fix the length instantly. In the end we decided it would make a great cape for a summer swimsuit due to the light weight material of the dress. We live in a high desert with triple digit heat, it will dry out fast!
