Review on Convenient 24 Pack Cupcake Boxes - Set of 4 - Durable Plastic Cupcake Containers by Katgely by Jon Dugan

A Bit Too Flimsy - Kitchen & Dining

I bought these to use in my small bakery shop for homemade cakes. They aren't as high quality as other plastic disposable cupcake holders I've bought in smaller sizes. The plastic is too flimsy to securely hold 24 cupcakes - I was so nervous trying to move them anywhere - the outer rows folded back even when holding them from below with both hands. The cupcake holes are also too close together - I had to be very careful when trying to put the cupcakes in and even more careful when trying to take them out to show the front desk - I ended up with multiple cupcakes. with little finger marks on the sides of the glaze (and I was as meticulous as I could be). I also find it very difficult to snap the lid into place. Most of the small locking tabs just crumple under pressure instead of locking because the plastic is too flimsy. On the plus side, having a 24 cupcake holder is awesome. The lids leave enough room for the relatively tall frosting/decorations on the cupcakes and have grooves in the base and lid that allow for secure stacking on top of each other. I carried three stacked on top of each other in a cake delivery box and wasn't worried about them falling or crushing the cupcakes—as long as I didn't have to pull out separate containers and rely on brittle plastic. I would only buy them again if I couldn't find a better option just because I love being able to carry 2 dozen cupcakes in a single carrier. But I will definitely look for a more durable product next time.
