About a year ago we adopted a 75# Labradoodle with severe allergies. A food elimination test showed that despite restricting his diet, he did not solve the problem (suggesting external allergens), but he still had mild food intolerances. We have an allergy test scheduled (EXPENSIVE) and want to put him on a very easy diet in the meantime, so I decided to try a combination of this kibble with canned duck and Blue Basics potatoes to make the meal a little more tempting. . Our dog is definitely not interested in any of these foods like the other Blue Buffalos we've used before, but that's to be expected. Mixing kibble with canned food is definitely a better combination than kibble alone. I really appreciate that they only make this type of food for dogs in this situation. Hopefully we'll get his allergies under control soon! At the same time, I think it's good that we feed him without causing him severe itching!
