I have been wearing my moissanite ring for less than a year and have noticed that the top flat part of the stone looks like an oil stain. I tried Dawn dish soap and warm water after the jewelry cleaner didn't work but the oil stain stayed. Use these cloths for polishing. It took a few times to wipe the oil stain but it was completely gone and stayed nice and shiny for at least a couple of weeks. I will polish it again just because I like the effectiveness of the product. Also, the rest of the ring is platinum, and that stuff also made it shine like it was brand new (unlike jewelry cleaner and Dawn soap). I am very satisfied with this product and can only recommend it! If I get another oily stain
