I love the colors and patterns of this new line from Vera Bradly made from recycled cotton. This large, durable bag features a strap that easily adjusts for shoulder or cross-body carry. The strap is strong yet comfortable to wear with no obtrusive closures or adjustments. There are three main zippered compartments, each conveniently divided. The bag is quilted and a little swollen which makes it look a bit larger but helps keep things secure. It's just shy of being too big, one of those that you can't find anything the first few days you wear it because it's too roomy and organized. This makes it the perfect bag for travel or long weekends, one of those bags that always carries that little bit more. The only thing I don't like is the phone pocket on the back. It's an open compartment and I've thrown my bag in the car more than once only for my phone to slip out. I have an iPhone 8 and if your phone is larger it might fit a little tighter in the compartment. I wish they had used a clasp or flap. The print is bright and vibrant and I have no doubt it will need cleaning after summer wear. Fortunately, I know from past experience that Vera Bradley bags hold up very well to washing.
