Different, but not necessarily bad. Nothing for beginners.

I'm used to the Cricut and Siser HTV brands. In my opinion, these two brands are much easier to weed. If you are used to these brands, you should also know that this brand has a thicker matte transfer film and is non-sticky. I expected these things to be deal breakers, but in the end they aren't. The fact that this transfer sheet is non-tacky makes it more difficult. However, the fact that the film is thicker doesn't seem to allow it to move as much as I was expecting. Surprisingly, I liked a thicker film when hot pressing since I can apply more heat, but it's difficult to remove. Unlike other brands that remove better when warmed up a bit, this brand DOES NOT REMOVE. It needs to be warmed up really GOOD and then cooled completely to look its best. This brand's vinyl seems to be thinner than I'm used to. I also thought it was supposed to be a downside, but to be honest it created more of a professional "screenprinted" look than an "I made this shirt at home" look. It also facilitates overheating and shrinkage. This product is not for beginners. It's definitely more difficult to weed and apply and the risk of error is much higher than some other brands, but for a professional finish (if done right) I think it does a great job!
