Loose threads all over, especially inside

Laundered once and not worn, these socks are a mess of loose threads, particularly on the inside. Putting them on is very uncomfortable on the toes as the strings bind. I imagine when I cut off some of the longest threads in the toes, the material will begin to unravel and holes will follow shortly. I feel this is a waste of my money!

Lycra is a sweat-wicking material, helps to control moisture. The quicker evaporation keeps feet cooler in summer, and warmer in winter.
