Dangerous - melted and shorted out. Do not buy!
Used in BMW X3 rear factory charge socket, melted and shorted out during normal use. The fuse in that plug didn't blow, but a short circuit blew the car's fuse for that socket. Another customer using a different version of this product (ring terminals) from the same manufacturer had the same problem. I bought another replacement version where the plug is made out of phenol which doesn't melt at such low temperatures.
- 12V and 24V are both allowed, the output voltage is the same as the car voltage. The plug is fitted with a 20A fuse (generic 6x30mm fuse available at your local store) to protect your car and devices and features an LED power indicator. .
