Discreet strap. The quality probably exceeds the price. It's not a $100 bracelet, but it's not cheap synthetic either. The color is a little lighter than in the picture. The haircut is good. No notable defects. Another review mentioned stress cracking that occurs when the band is flexed - this only happens to my band when it is flexed beyond what can happen with normal wear. as I matched it to a 30 year old watch with a decent amount of daily wear. This group seems to fit that bill well, but that shouldn't put off those looking for a 'fresh' look. I'm sure with care it will look good for a while.
