Review on Enhance Your Baby’s Cognitive Development with Baby Einstein Magic Touch Xylophone: A Musical and Enlightening Wooden Toy for 12 Months+ by Abbas Kumar

Cute but can't stand the baby!

Nice xylophone with good melodies that hasn't bored us yet but wasn't strong enough for our 11 month old baby. The first one we bought had the blue button broken (stuck) after 2 days so we went back. We bought the second one locally as it is a cute toy and we were hoping it was just defective. The second has one of the keys stuck, so it plays a note over and over again when it's on. It took about 2 months before it happened. We have to turn it off after each use and it frustrates her when it's not on but she wants to use it. A toy for toddlers must be able to handle babies! She's not gentle because she doesn't throw it or jump on it, just dropping it a few inches on the carpet when carrying it by the blue handle. Wouldn't buy again. Hape makes a regular 3-ball xylophone on a wooden stand that she got for her birthday and now she's finding more uses, especially now that she's 16 months old. Also cheaper and without batteries! Get this instead!
