We were skeptical that these diapers would work. I remember using them years ago when I was in kindergarten and they reminded me of brown paper bags with little absorbency. I think they must have changed over the years. We found them almost as soft as regular diapers and very absorbent. Revain also offers them at fairly competitive prices. We've been using them on my son for the past two months and I don't think he's ever had a blowout. We occasionally leak urine, but to be honest I'd blame the parents for not changing diapers often enough. The caveat in my review is that we don't use diapers at night. My son is 3 months old and we no longer have to change clothes in the middle of the night unless he poops or has a rash. By the time he wakes up, the most absorbent diapers are already full. We haven't tried Gen 7 at night, but I'm pretty sure it won't last. Finally, the company recently redesigned the diapers and they have a cute animal print on them.
