This is a stylish razor. If you shave in 2 or 3 passes, you may not like this razor. If you love a perfect shave and go over problem areas a few times to get a good shave, you'll love the One Blade razor. I got a perfect shave with a razor the first time, but I still went over the problem areas, jawline and neck several times. But surprisingly, there weren't any cuts or razor bumps, which I usually get when trying to go through those areas with a DE razor. The second shave with the same blade was just as good. But the third shave wasn't as good as the first two. The blades seem to dull very quickly. I can usually use a dual blade razor blade for 7 shaves. And I could use a cartridge shaver for several weeks, even a month. One thing I noticed is that the single-edged blade is easier to clean by rinsing it under the running water. My DE razors are not easy to clean. I can only see it with a magnifying glass when looking at a razor blade. There's something about a single blade that keeps it clean. I've been using One Blade for over 5 weeks now. The razor causes the least irritation of any razor I have used. I also find it almost impossible to cut yourself. This is coming from a DE razor, so you might have to be a bit careful with a cartridge razor, but I don't know of any other razor that's quite as forgiving. I don't get cuts or rashes from the razor no matter how many times I go over the area and no matter how fast or slow I shave. This is not the case with any of my DE razors, they are much less forgiving. I bought a CORE razor with a plastic head. If you look closely at the head, you can see several small notches that hold the razor blade. It looks like the razor head will be the weak point of the CORE razor. Eventually those plastic lugs will wear out as the blade touches them. The blade fits loosely in the razor's handle, but I haven't noticed any loose fit issues. The handle is metal covered with plastic. The metal is non-magnetic and appears to resist rusting. The only thing I have with the grip is that it's very slippery. You could also put some grooves in the grip, smooth plastic doesn't work well with wet hands. I have to use a dry hand razor. My only concern is this razor - the cost of shaving. This is the most expensive razor I have ever used. Razors are just under a dollar and you shave about 2 times. So it's a little less than $15 for a month. It's more expensive than any cartridge razor I've used. Even an expensive $7 cartridge razor would last me a month. This is less than half the cost of One Blade. Therefore, using One Blade is very expensive compared to the cost of shaving. I've tried cleaning the blade with the Razor Pit and it seems to help. I've been able to shave with a blade for a week now. This slightly reduces the cost and makes it more practical. If you buy this razor and the Razor Pit to clean the blade then it's a good buy. With this attitude I give the razor 4 stars. This is a really great close and very close shave.
