This HDMI switch works seamlessly with PS4. If you are looking for an HDMI switch that works properly with PS4, then this is it. I'm having trouble finding an HDMI switch that works with PS4. Generally (not this particular switch), this type of no-power HDMI switch uses the power supply of the HDMI cable in input port 1 to power the device. So port 1 needs to be connected to something with power for the switch to work properly. So to use port 2, everything on port 1 needs to be enabled for the switch to wake up, which in itself is a problem. Apparently the PS4 doesn't supply enough power over HDMI for this type of switch to work properly. This is a common complaint about this type of HDMI switch. I have purchased two other brands/models of this switch and have had problems with both. When the PS4 was plugged in, the switch didn't recognize it at all or cycle the PS4 on and off. But the switches worked fine for other devices. This is no problem with this HDMI switch. I can verify if this switch works with PS4. I connected it so that output = TV, input 1 = PS4 and input 2 = blank. PS4 works perfectly when it's the only device connected. I leave input 2 blank 95% of the time. I love that it's available to connect a tablet, laptop, Nintendo Switch, etc. if needed. It also works well when other devices are connected to port 2.
