Disk not ejected properly warning on Mac. None of the solutions work. Not suitable for Mac if you don't use Bootcamp.

Terrible. I keep getting the "disk not ejected properly" warning. I'm working on Mac 2013 with OS 10.9.5. I disabled the HD sleep option in power saving mode for both power and battery. I installed the JDL software and restarted. No help. It regularly gives me this warning. I get this when I plug or unplug anything else into my USB stick. I get this when the computer goes to sleep and wakes up, or when I close the top. My laptop is plugged in and fully charged, so there is no power issue. Maybe it's a time machine conflict. I can't believe my details are secure and will most likely be returning this item. Last update on February 29th. In the end I tried to help but just wasted more time. They told me that the drive was behaving very strangely and that I should replace it. Change, same problem. I googled and found other people with the same problem (USB auto ejecting intermittently). A blogger from 2014 said that they would inform Transcend, so I think Transcend's failure to warn customers is wrong, not to mention that such behavior is very abnormal. I've also found some suggestions that the problem is due to insufficient power from the USB/SSD to power the SSD, as well as additional USB usage. I'm not sure if this is an issue or if it's just OSX as another post mentioned they had no problems running bootcamp/windows only on OSX. I've come to the conclusion that an SSD isn't a stable solution for a Mac if you need to use your USB ports, which is a shame as it's such an elegant solution. I'm assuming it's an operating system issue. Anyway, I got mine back and I'm sticking with flash drives. UPDATE February 8th 2016 Problems persist when I plug in a USB stick OR my iPhone. For example, the moment I plug in my iPhone, I get a "Disk not properly ejected" message for JDL. That's shocking. I think it's unprofessional for a company to sell these drives to Mac users when they have this iPhone problem, let alone the hibernation and USB sticks problem. I wish I had known this beforehand, I would have never bought this. This isn't an inconvenience - the real problem is that constantly ejecting the drive is bad for the integrity of the drive. I'm waiting for a response from the manufacturer to see if they have a fix for this. If not, I conclude that the product doesn't work for OSX. For now, that seems like a surprisingly elegant solution that flies like a lead balloon. I sincerely hope there is a solution and I'll update it when I'm done.
