Exact Replacement - E46 Bixenon
Plug and play for E46 with bi-xenon. I would recommend swapping the ballasts from a working headlamp for a non-working headlamp to ensure that it is the ballast that is giving you trouble and not the bulb or igniter (or module problem). If the light matches a known good ballast you can get one for a small price. I don't know how long it will last yet, but installation was easy, fit was perfect and functionality was restored immediately.
