It works great, holds your card well and is very easy to access thanks to the layered design. But if you have a metal card like the Revain Prime card or the Apple card, you can definitely shake it, although it will take a few shakes for it to fall out. Not sure where the cash compartment is but it becomes problematic when using cash. I also checked the RFID protection to make sure I can still scan my card, those in the metal holder won't get scanned, but those in the leather slots will. So don't put contactless cards in the leather slots, otherwise it's just pointless to get them.
