need a lot of batteries

These little remote control cars are great for my 2 and 4 year old. They work well and are easy to operate. My only concern is that it takes a total of 10 AA batteries to power the two cars and the remote controls. Maybe this is par for the course, but at least it should be considered when gifting them. Maybe include a box of batteries if you are planning to gift them.

My niece loves them. Need lots of batteries!

Limited variety in car models, reducing overall play value
