I pre-selected these when planning our jack-o'-lanterns this year. I switched to LED lights in ours many years ago but they are difficult to use and I usually forget to remove them until the pumpkin is dull so I throw them away with the pumpkins. To be honest, I live in the desert in the southwest, so we'll be lucky if our jack-o'-lanterns last a few days here. In any case, I thought they would be similar to the ones I had but easier to wash at the end of the season and easier to use with the remote control. they are so perfect. I can't wait to use them. I will also use them for Christmas lights. One catch - I've recently installed LED lights in my children's rooms. I loved her but didn't want to be too childish in my room. It would be great there too - for some fancy ambient lighting hidden in alcoves throughout the room. So yeah, the downside is I have to buy more because I've found countless uses. Anyhow, they're tiny - about the size of tealights/candles - but each one is quite bright. One is good for a gourd or a light fixture, but you'll likely use the entire pack if you're using a room or multiple for the Set up spa/bathroom ambient lighting. I haven't had any issues with mine and plan to buy another round. . Great find and incredible price. Update: They're great for pumpkins. Added photo/video. :)
