After doing some research and reading the reviews we decided to buy this rocking chair for our 5 year old son who was having a hard time sitting in his regular chair at home to sit and practice letters and projects at school. ADVANTAGES: The material of the seat is very durable hard plastic. It is very easy to assemble and adjust to your child's height. It is very easy to keep clean. And it does what it's supposed to: let your baby wobble and rock. Our son enjoys sitting in this chair and no longer feels restricted by the four-legged chair he used to fall out of because he just couldn't sit still in it. CONS: Chair top with cushion is already falling apart/falling apart. turns off after a little less than 3 days of use. I find this quite disappointing for a $50+ chair. That was my reason for the 4 star rating. If it wasn't a problem it would be five stars.
