Review on Speakman SR 124 Anystream Multi Function Polished by Erik Richardson

My very first speaker I used was at a Marriott hotel and since then I have seen it at several other hotel chains. I have always been a customer of Moen and Kohls when it comes to kitchen and bathroom fixtures. But one day, years ago, when I first met the Speakman at a hotel stay, I just had to have it. Let's face it, everyone makes shower heads with different settings, but it's hard to find one that has pressure and is made of a durable material. My first owner of the Speakman was an S4000, which was mostly plastic with a color wheel surrounding the sprays and had a fixed setting. I bought this after I married my wife and noticed our apartment shower in the main toilet had no pressure and was building up calcium. I bought the S4000 shower head for about $18 back in 2017 and I believe they are about $21 now. I liked this shower head and it fixed the lack of pressure and splash. Fast forward 2 years and a few more hotel stays and I wanted to upgrade to a different speakman but with multiple shower settings. I chose this one for the price which was around $22. This one is also made of plastic, which is not a problem for me since my first Speakman still works perfectly and I didn't have any leaks or blockages. Switching to the SR-124 is a big step forward as my wife loves the massage jet. I ended up moving the S4000 to our second closet where my mother-in-law is currently enjoying it compared to what she used before. Anyway, as asked most frequently here. I left the water limiter in because I was afraid of damaging the shower screen since it's plastic. Personally the pressure is fine but sometimes I want to remove the restrictor to increase the water pressure but that's fine. In time I will buy one of their S-2005 or S-2252 and never look back. Upgrading to Speakman is like going from dial-up broadband to cable broadband, there's no turning back.
