So I'm pretty sure it's 100% really cheap plastic. Frankincense is generally garbage. They smell awful but my husband loves them. They smell of burning wood/ash. Not at all like your standard incense stick. But incense spiral is complete nonsense. They don't burn, they don't even stay in place. You shouldn't even have them. Tried using them once and threw them away but they work as they should. BUT the smoke from incense leaves an unpleasant tar all over the burner and that smell of tar lingers FOREVER. Basically, you must clean this item with soap and water every time you use it. And to be honest, it smells just like my grandma's ashtray when I washed it for her! It's nice, but that's all it's worth.
