Survived the Torture

I bought these as an investment to help with meal prep on a budget. It has been over a month since I bought the containers and I can say with confidence that they have survived the torture I put them through. Left alone in a plastic bag in the back seat of my car for a few days, ran through the dishwasher when washing my hands seemed unlikely (especially after being left in the back seat of the car. The smell alone wasn't great either). , and use them to store my husband's favorite cold recipe and vegetable lasagna. While they're not made of steel or any other high-tech plastic, leakage hasn't been a problem, not to mention it won't be the case with age. But again, I make sure each one is tightly closed and there is no food between the lid and the container. Since I know a thing or two about how liquid blocks liquids (it's a science thing), a little moisture on the sides of the bowl during cooking creates a nice seal while they're hanging in the fridge until I eat them. . I liked them so much that I immediately bought a set of round ones for soups and salads. While this two-section style is good for keeping foods "inviolable" from each other, they aren't ideal for soups and salads. I'm not saying it's impossible because I used them on these items and they survived. Basically, if you need something that you can torture, wash and reuse, this is a pretty good deal for its price.
