It cleans dog and cat poop from carpet (especially fresh stains; not sure about old ones) with minimal hand contact. Because who wants to touch these things? I grab the big chunks, set down the Spot-Bot and walk for six minutes while he carefully cleans up the rest of the dirt. After that, dirty water is easy to wash out - remove the plastic tank from the device and pour it into the toilet. Rinse, discard and place back in the machine. Because we keep it in a clean water tank with water and cleaning solution, it's ready for the next mess cute pets make. Why did it take me years to try this product? If you have carpet and pets like me, you need this.
