Gloves are good pot holders are not- These are a downright fire hazard PLEASE do not buy! I almost burnt down my house because of these ebay should be ashamed of this being for sale. We set down a cookie sheet on one of these that was not even close to the "max temp” it stuck to the bottom of the cookie sheet and we did not notice that it was there when putting the sheet back in the oven resulting in an oven fire. I had to use the gloves to remove the oven rack and they were burned in the process as well and did not protect my hands from the heat any better than a thin old regular mit. What a nightmare the house stunk like burnt plastic and putting it out was a challenge. Please avoid these or risk your house and life.
